Bridget Cross, LCSW, PMH-C

Bridget Cross is a Savannah-based licensed clinical social worker and certified perinatal mental health therapist with 20 years of experience in providing compassionate, relational psychotherapy. With a background in community mental health, social justice activism, and the arts, Bridget offers therapy rooted in warmth, curiosity, compassion, humor, and respect for human experience.

Bridget opened her therapy practice in 2015, after moving to Georgia from New York City. Since then she has offered support to adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relational challenges, and mental health struggles across the reproductive lifespan – from pregnancy and postpartum to infertility, loss, perimenopause, and beyond. Bridget also offers clinical supervision, consultation, and training in perinatal mental health.

Bridget’s work is informed by advanced training in perinatal mental health, psychodynamic psychotherapy, yoga and mindfulness-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE).

In addition to being a proud member of the Maternal Mental Health Collective of Savannah, Bridget founded the Georgia Fund for Perinatal Mental Health, which provides fully funded perinatal therapy to parents across the state. She also serves on the board of the Georgia chapter of Postpartum Support International (PSI).

Outside of work, Bridget is a mom to two daughters and the world’s best rescue dog. She enjoys reading, writing, yoga, and spending as much time as possible at the beach.
