Relational care
We believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. We show up as real people – dynamic, engaged, and present. We value connection, attunement, and trust as the foundation for meaningful change.Liberation-oriented practice
Our work is grounded in feminist, anti-racist, and LGBTQ+-affirming frameworks. We are committed to dismantling systems of oppression and practicing in support of collective and individual liberation.Reproductive justice
We are unapologetically pro–reproductive freedom. We believe in the right to reproductive choice and safety, without exception. We honor each person’s right to make decisions about their body, family, and future without shame, coercion, or judgment.Empowerment
We do not see clients as broken or deficient. We believe in your resilience, your insight, and your inherent worth. Our work centers empowerment, embodiment, and self-trust rather than diagnosis or pathology.Trauma-informed & culturally responsive care
We recognize and honor the impact of both individual and collective trauma. We strive to practice with cultural humility, curiosity, and accountability. We remain committed to ongoing learning and unlearning. -
Nurture was born as a community-based support group for postpartum women in Savannah.
We started with a simple goal: to create space where new mothers could be real about how they feel – the exhaustion, the overwhelm, the grief, the identity shifts – and find connection, warmth, and zero judgment.
What became clear quickly was how deep this need was. So many people were carrying anxiety, rage, trauma, loneliness, and uncertainty without adequate support. This is especially true here in Georgia, where maternal health outcomes are poor and reproductive freedom is under threat.
Nurture Therapy Group offers this same compassionate support to individuals and families across the reproductive lifespan. We are committed to providing skilled, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive mental health care that fosters connection and healing.
You don’t have to do this alone.
